Day 1 (Fri) – En Route

An overnight flight from Toronto to Casablanca.

Day 2 (Sat) - Casablanca

Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, you will be met by our representative, who will assist you through formalities and transfer you to your Casablanca Hotel. (D)

Day 3 (Sun) - Casablanca / Rabat

After breakfast, you will start your panoramic sightseeing tour of this important dynamic metropolis including a visit to the dazzling Hassan II mosque. Continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, set in a rich coloured landscape. Overnight in Rabat at your hotel. (D)

Day 4 (Mon) - Rabat / Meknes / Fes

After breakfast, your sightseeing will begin with a visit to the “Imperial garden city”, the Kasbah of Oudayas, Hassan Tower and walls of the Mechouar which surround the royal palace. In the afternoon you will depart for Meknes set in the heart of the Moroccan countryside. Enroute you will make a short visit to Moulay Idriss, a sacred Islamic town, passing by the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Upon arrival in the historic city of Meknes you will start your sightseeing tour of the “Moroccan Versailles”, a town founded in the 17th century by the King Moulay Ismael. The architecture and the surroundings have remained unchanged for centuries. A multitude of passages, stairways and small courtyards leads into maze of merchant streets. Day 5 (Tue) - Fes

After breakfast you will spend the day sightseeing the holy city of Fes which is the oldest of the Imperial cities, you will visit the medieval Medina and religious Islamic centers which include Medersas, Karaouine Mosque and Nejjarine Fountain. In the afternoon you will visit the famous Souks of Fes bustling with artisans and merchants, its captivating sounds, fragrances and colour mesmerize the visitors with a constant swirl of activity. Day 6 (Wed) - Fes / Beni Mellal / Marrakech

After breakfast you will depart for Marrakech via Berber village Immouzer du Kandar and Ifrane a delightful ski resort, well known for its wood carvings. Stop at Beni Mellal for view of the richest agricultural centers of Morocco. Arrival  Marrakech and overnight at your hotel. (BD)

Day 7 (Thu) - Marrakech

After breakfast, you will take a full day sightseeing of Marrakech, the “pearl of the south” founded by the Almoravides Dynasty at the end of 12 Century. You will also discover the souks of Marrakech with its multi coloured wools and the Djemaa El Fna square. In the afternoon you will visit Saadiens Tombs, Dar Si Said Museum, Menara and Agdal Gardens, the Koutoubia, and the Bahia Palace. Overnight at Hotel in Marrakech. (BLD)

Day 8 (Fri) - Marrakech

Day 9 (Sat) - Marrakech

Day 10 (Sun) - Marrakech

Day 11 (Mon) – Marrakesh / Ouarzazate / Zagora (375 Km)

Departure by land rover to Ouarzazate via the mountains of the high Atlas passing through the Tich’n Tichka pass. Continue to Zagora via the mountains of the Anti-Atlas. From Agdz, the track road is taken leading through numerous villages and palm groves along the Drâa river. Overnight at your hotel. (BD)

Day 12 (Tue) - Zagora / Erfoud / Merzouga (250 Km)

Excursion to Tamegroute, visit of the famous library containing old books and documents dating from the 12th century. Visit of the sand dunes of Tinfou. Departure to Erfoud, partly by track road and partly by normal road, through Tansikht and Nkob where splendid sceneries of presaharian desert dotted with Berber villages, and of the Sargho Mountain massive follow each other perpetually. Stop at Tazzarine, small Berber village. Afternoon, continuation to Erfoud via the villages of Alnif and Rissani, birthplace of the present Alaouites Dynasty. Overnight at Auberge Tombouctou In Merzouga. (BD)

Day 13 (Wed) - Merzouga / Erfoud/ Dades (250 km)

Early morning excursion to view the sunrise over the sand dunes of Merzouga. Return to the Auberge for breakfast and continue to the Tinghir Oasis via Erfoud. Tinghir is famous for its magnificent Todghra canyons which rocks reach an altitude of 250 meters. Excursion to the canyons and the possibility of a short hike. Coninue to Boulmane where you will enter the Dades canyons for a visit via the road of the thousand kasbahs. Overnight at your hotel in Dades. (BD)

Day 14 (Thr) - Dades / Ouarzazate (150 km)

Departure to EL Kelâa from where you take again the track road to the village of Skoura. On the way, we pass the beautiful Kasbah of Amerhidel. The track road continues till Ouarzazate following the feet of the Atlas Mountains. Overnight in Ouarzazate. (BD)

Day 15 (Fri) - Ouarzazate / Marrakesh (200 Km)

Short visit of Ouarzazate including the Kasbah of Taourirt and coninue to Ait Benhaddhou. This kasbah is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco and has served as decor for many great movies. Continue to Telouet by a track road which is one of the most difficult part of this tour. We are crossing two river beds and are climbing the Atlas mountains. Visit of the Kasbah of Telouet, former residence of the Glaoui family, one of the most influential families of this region. Travel via the Tich’n tichka pass, continue to Marrakesh and overnight at your hotel. (BD)

Day 16 (Sat) – En Route

Transfer to the Marrakesh airport for departure.
