Itinerary
After the pyramids, Abu Simbel is one of Egypt's most famous sites. The temple there was built 3000 years ago to honor Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari. Four powerful figures of the pharaoh stand over 60 feet tall. This temple, which has remained nearly intact over the ages, was rescued from the rising water of Lake Nasser by a team of UNESCO engineers, by cutting the entire structure, moving it stone by stone and reassembling it from 1964 to 1968.

Testimonials
Just to let you know we had a incredible trip, the tour guide was a book of knowledge. He was very considerate with everyone he went out of his way to please everyone. The hotels in Istanbul were really great both places and the breakfast at the first Hotel was good. The bus driver was amazing. The tour price was excellent I would suggest perhaps one more day in Istanbul at the end of the trip for free time would be nice and perhaps cut something else out or charge a little more for the extra night in Istanbul. All and all it was an excellent trip. |
